The Scot’s Quest

Dyna Grant is the fiercest lass in the Highlands, but she has one weakness: her grandsire, the renowned Alexander Grant. So when the English threaten his life—again—she volunteers to escort him to safety, even if she has to accept the company of Derric Corbett to do so.

A warrior who moves from place to place, battle to battle, Derric never thought he would marry. And yet, Dyna is no ordinary lass and his feelings for her are undeniable. Derric can’t plan a future with her until he reckons with his past, but he also can’t bring himself to step away. So when he’s given an opportunity to travel with her and Alex, he immediately takes it.

Their purpose is simple, but the journey soon spirals out of control, each challenge sparking more contention—and passion—between Derric and Dyna. Fate seems to keep throwing them together, but can two such fierce, solitary souls find a way to coexist?

Another wonderful story. Captured from the very first page and not wanting it to end. Keira tells a story better than anyone else. An insight into the growth of love and of course the strength of family . Enjoyed every moment of this story and looking forward to the next.

Just finished The Scot's Quest by Keira Montclair and had to write a review right away. This is Book 4 in the Highland Swords series and each book is excellent and gets better and better. Dyna's story was much anticipated and did not disappoint. Dyna and Derrick are perfect together. I love how they are together, how he understands her and she can be herself with him, and the scene in the cabin, hysterical!! So much is packed into this book, favorites from the past, oh how I've missed them. I was seriously squealing and giddy at the point when Dyna is grabbed from her saddle. Just when I think Keira can't surprise me again, she does. The part about Dyna's sister and an old friend from the past, oh my heart. Trying not to give any spoilers away here. There is just so much that I love about this book and the whole series, but then I love all this author's books. Brilliant work yet again, Keira!! (less)
